New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I am located in Ontario Canada.
I say own and ride the bike for a while before changing much out....except for the mirrors.
I'd hold off on the DART until you've ridden it a bit. I kinda feel like the instrument pod functions a little like a flyscreen.
On the seat, in the short time I've owned it I've gone about two hours at a stretch without getting off it. The seat begins to feel hard at that point, maybe about 100 miles.
...I was planning on upgrading the shocks but the stock ones have been adequate. Mine came with Sachs but I have seen pics on on the Olle website that look like they are factory installed. European version maybe?
I notice several comments about mirrors, and the bike I'm buying has changed out mirrors. What's wrong with stock mirrors?
Both my '13 V7 Stone and my new V7II Stone came equipped with Olle shocks. I have no idea whether they're better or worse than Sachs shocks, but they're good enough for me.
The only issue I have with the mirrors (stock) was that they seemed to be too short and I was getting too much of my shoulder when viewing them...I think a few guys bought extenders or swapped out with another model on the Guzzi line. I went with bar end mirrors. Enjoy your ride! Cheers,Chris
The stock mirrors are too short, and vibrate too much, resulting in a blurred image. The 1200 sport mirrors corrected both. MGCycle currently only shows the left on one their site. IIRC, I actually ordered mine over the phone from Moto International. The funny thing is, the same mirrors are available under an Aprilia (Tuano, I think) part number for less than the MG part number.
