We should see the final design on the Marley T's today , waiting on Glider John and the artist to finalize everything .

The Marley T-shirts seem to be selling well , just a reminder , we will be turning the order in around the 6th of April .

On another note , Davedel 44 is working hard behind the scenes to make something happen that will make the event run more smoothly , Thanks Dave.

Nothing planned as of yet , but we will come up with something , maybe Grouse Creek Road into Dexter , or visit a couple of waterfalls in the area . With some things not being open , normal destinations are tricky .

Not meaning to be a wet blanket, but are there any official rules relating to -?

I’m assuming the town is ok with us coming, and don’t mind us wandering in the downtown Cedar Vale metroplex.   Is everything open?  Like the breakfast cafe?

I’m assuming proof of vaccination is not required.

Anything else we should be aware of?

As of today we are welcome , remember , we have a special relationship with Cedar vale , they trust us . If the virus truly spikes before May , we will evaluate the situation on the ground and make a hard decision .

The only thing that is closed will be the museum , the town is renovating the facility . we will still have pie , probably outside of the museum if we ask nicely , or at the park if that works better .

As for the - question , no proof will be necessary , I do know this much , pharmacies in many states are now accepting appointments for most folks regardless of age or underlying health issues , so getting jabbed shouldn't be a big problem . Masks won't be required , although I will mask up during food prep and cooking .

Basically I am approaching this like everything else in my life , attempting to manage the risk . At this moment it appears that if we exercise some common sense we can do this safely . Reality is there is no way to eliminate all risk , motorbike riders already know this , balancing out mental health against the possibility of physical risk is part and parcel of how we live .

 Confused yet ?

Dusty, can you help with a couple questions about the rally?   I know numbers go up and down, but what number would be typical of rally attendendece over the years?  Are there any bars in town?

Cedar Vale is a small town, are they ok with campers who stay up late, and enjoy tipping a few?   What I'm getting at is, are people ok with late night Guzzi revelry?   Nothing over the top, but I want to get an idea of what is ok in Cedar Vale.

We have had close to 80 in the past , this year I would expect maybe 30 due to circumstances .

No bar in town , just a liquor store . There won't be any problem with the locals , a few will join us on Fri evening , and then again Saturday evening . The one policeman in town is a friend , since we aren't gonna be doing burn outs ...

I'll bring my trailer (like I did at the AHRMA at Road America).  What would you want me to stock so far a drinks?  (Donations appreciated)

The park is away from the town residents, so you shouldn't get into to much trouble unless you get out the fireworks or firearms.

If it's too quiet in the park at night, the locals will think we're up to "sumptom"!   :boozing:

Will make plans to make it. But will be having a visit with someone about a change in career so plans could be changed. Will know more after next weekend. Will be good to see everyone again.

The falls at Crowley Lake in about 20 miles west of CV.  The OZ MC museum is about 70 miles.

Bartlesville OK (60 miles) (+Woolaroc) and WIchita (85 miles) have Frank Wright designs.  Casinos are all over.

I'm not so familiar with the area to know if there are some great routes or good eats places or historical sites.   We've done all the stuff mentioned above.

I almost always prefer the outdoors stuff , and with conditions being what they are maybe a waterfall tour would be fun .

If your wanting something outdoors, consider Picher, Oklahoma.  Only 102 miles to the East.  It’s a ghost town Superfund site due to a hundred years of lead mining.   Huge mountains of chat.   Don’t think we’ve done this venue before.

100 miles one way to Picher , the folks traveling in might prefer to keep the rides shorter . Was thru there a few years back , it's really eerie and depressing , even the old mining museum has burned down , probably arson , no one cares .

Regular tours to Sedan leaving every 2 hours!  :)  Rotating tour leader sign up here!  :thumb: :thumb:

I'd like to see the waterfalls this time...hoping there's enough water running!

Woolaroc is a great visit, at least a 1/2 day event to enjoy it and savor the museum, lots of interesting stuff to see there...see if you can find the "secret" back entrance for extra bonus points!   :thumb: :thumb:
