Actually that was North and it was 26miles.If it were not for some helpful little girl with a dog+scarecrow Id still be there.Igot a real kick out of her,she said Ive never seen a bike like yours, I said its a Guzzi she said its a duzzi alright it doesn't have a sidestand! OK folks , I am predicting temps in the mid to high 70s , maybe a Spring shower or two just to settle the pollen , light winds , and a high probability of severe hilarity . There is a front moving down from Nebraska and Iowa containing lightening bolts of wit and silliness along with a wave from the "jet" stream carrying vast amounts of intelligence and hilarious tales arriving from the West coast . A minor disturbance containing extreme levels of mechanical and practical knowledge will arrive from Kansas accompanied by a vortex containing warm humor and varying amounts of silliness and wisdom from Missouri . Kind of hard to predict how the whirlwinds from Oklahoma and Arkansas will affect the proceedings , certainly they will be "legal" and not "Rock(er)" the boat or create conditions unfavorable for" Lowryting"or "Sailing". High probability of a low altitude "Glider" sighting and the highly elusive , though often cited
"Picture Perfect" day coming down from Wichita . Hopefully the conditions will allow for a "Bullit" like trip from Cherryvale
bearing , in relative terms , two V formations of Geese .

Kirby , thanks . Just kind o the of flowed out , I do have the infrequent moments of , well , not genius , but average intelligence  :D There is more , but it became a bit garbled in my head  ;D Something about a slight possibility of a gust front "Kcking" up bringing some "Unkept" conditions . Also a "Red" Riding Hood on a gentle wind producing some
sweet "Lor(rain)e" followed by a gentle "Storm" . OK , think I am done now . ;D

Dusty, take one of the expected tally.  My son can't make the ride.  His mother, (my ex, thankfully) is coming out for Easter. So he feels an obligation to stay here and see her at his brothers house over Easter.  I could say something about my ex and Easter but since the boys read this forum and it is their mother I shall, shall we say, refrain from further remarks.  ::)  Looks like just me and Miss Sweet Lorraine will show up in 14 days today, and counting.  We got a room in Garner KS for Thursday night so we can have a shower Friday morning since the hygeine accoutrements may be on the rather primative side the rest of the week.  ;) :D  See ya all then!!! :bike :+=copcar

12 days folks . Can you hear the fish frying and smell the fire burning ? Doug has done his usual brilliant work behind the scenes and arranged for a load of firewood to be delivered and is bringing a high zoot camp shower . Not fancy perhaps , but a hot shower is always welcome at camp outs , especially by one's camp neighbor  ;D As stated earlier , at least 2 of us will be there on Thursday if any one just needs to get out of the house . Matt is promising to keep us laughing , so come out damn it  :D Counting about 18 of us so far .

Yeah , except the average IQ is several points higher and our percentage of attendees who actually "ride" in is almost 100 percent . No posers allowed  ;D Just kidding , if you need to arrive by car we will still welcome you . After counting on my fingers the number may be closer to 22 . Dang , we have created a monster  ;D

Yup , last year we spent what , 75 bucks in town ? :D This year we will add about 200 U.S. to the local economy .
Still , the city officials seem to like us  :)
