This get-together is on my radar (very weather dependent), and I'm looking forward to it. Cedar Vale is about 700 miles for me, so it's probably a two-day jaunt in each direction.

I made a little run wo Wichita, Ks. today. I went through CV, it was..........dark.
Took this shot at sundown over Fredonia.

I did a sales call at the Bob Dole VA Med Ctr. I was suprised a ED clinic hadn't been erected in his name ???

Good news is I did get to listen to my entire Homer and Jethro music collection without interuption.

Had an old dog, he was thin as a rail.

A thousand fleas all on his tail.

When that tail of his went flop.

The fleas on the bottom all went to the top. :BEER:

Well chuckh youll certainly be welcome by all,at 81 Iam just a young buck (that's BUCK) next to you.I usually take two days getting to a nar, then at least two more to get home usually cause Im pushin the bike I don't mind tho it gives me a chance to pick up the parts I lost on the way there ,Cedar Vail is only 300 miles still a lot of smiles tho!!!

Only cedars that I know are the scrubby ones that grow in the hill country West of Austin. The cedar choppers cut them down, strip the branches, and use them as fence posts. Not big enough to hang a hammock containing a person of my manly proportions.

640 miles (10hrs) for me, looks pretty boring, I-35.. If I get the timing belt done by then maybe I'll come in a car? are dogs allowed to run free in that park?

She doesn't really like long rides I can tell but wants to go anywhere I do.. that's a dog for ya..

Pretty big cedars in "The Vale" Dave, but they are spread out a little.
