Ah, I'm the one who put them on backwards.  Never even really looked at them, just stuck em on and clear coated.  Gonna have to order some more from MG Cycles and put them on correctly....LOL!

We are working on a deal for the Chamber to cook breakfast in the park Saturday morning , and even helping with equipment for the catfish fry on Saturday night . The camp out is also being listed in Cedar Vale's event calendar , cool huh  For those of you that don't know , CV welcomes us in a manner almost unheard of in the modern world . Let's make next year's Cedar Vale event the biggest and best yet

Not related BUT...ever been to the Ks M/C museum in Marquette? Lucked into it last spring heading fm Ga to Reno. Small museum in a small town north of Wichita then McPherson. Neat history and m/c examples. I suggest getting the dvd guided by the deceased racer/owner Stan Engdahl. Inspiring IMHO.

look up "Woodingdean Well" in Sussex England.  It's stunning (and over ten times the size of the Kansas well).

Cawker City KS  Having been to the bottom of the well in Greensburg , it really is impressive, even the first reponders from NYC that came to help after the tornado were duly impressed with the well

There's a twine ball in Minnesota that is/was larger (perhaps one or the other has added a bit).  There used to be a sign on the Kansas ball that mentioned this.  I don't know; I think the idea of the Second largest ball of twine in the world sounds honorable and more fitting to the early Kansas sensibilities.  Of course, that would be true in Minnesota, as well.  You go first; no, I insist, yours is a splendid ball of twine...

 Hmm , so those two cartoon chipmunks were either from Minnesota or Kansas  One does need to visit the Northern Oklahoma/Kansas area to appreciate how unassuming the locals are , same holds for most of the Midwest and High Plains region . Pull off the road to take pics , or just rest for a moment , and the first car stops and the driver checks on your well being .

There are several MGNOC events that are not shown on that calendar.  One in particular is The MGNOC National in John Day, OR in late-June.  Is anything being done to communicate the information back-and-forth?  If not, why not?

 No official effort , but we are encouraging anyone with the info to post dates and locations on the WG calendar . The MGNOC calendar will not show NAR's for obvious reasons , but there is no problem posting club events on WG .
