When Dusty says they have a really large pavillion, he's not kidding.



I've yet to see another like it.

 Just so anyone worried about a bit of rain , the pavilion will hold about 300 with room left over .

 OK , here is the tentative itinerary for this year .

 First arrivals on Wednesday will likely be treated to something special from Davedel for evening meal
no idea what it will be , but he is a wonderful cook . We will set the donation jar out for Dave , seems fair .

 Thursday will be a riding day for some of the early arrivals , with more folks arriving from across the country . Thursday evening meal will be kind of a group effort between Dave , Rod , me , and whoever else wants to help , Rod seems to come up with something good every year , same drill with the donation jar . 

 Friday will see breakfast at the cafe , followed by a ride thru the windmill farm and the Tall Grass prairie reserve in Oklahoma , just a leisurely 150 mile round trip , Pawhuska has some interesting sights .
 Friday evening meal will be served by the CofC , BBQ same as last year , part of the fund raiser we are doing for the city . It was very good last year .

 Sat breakfast in the park provided by the Lions Club , also part of the fund raising . The bike show downtown will start about 1 PM , with desert provided in the museum . Last year the local ladies outdid themselves and provided incredible homemade treats .
 After the show and museum visit , about an hour , it is free form until Saturday evening catfish fry, we'll start serving about 5:30 so Luap and LaSondra have time to eat and get home before dark .

 Last but not least will be the closing ceremony in the pavilion , with our MC Smithswede , and his more than able assistant Beaver . Ask anyone who was there last year, they will testify that these two know how to keep everyone laughing . We have some great giveaways provided by "The King Of Fleece" , along with a couple of other fun things . We will have the traditional 50/50 drawing , won last year by Turnip , he stated it was the first time he ever won anything at a rally 
 
 Obviously we have a few surprises , some planned , some will simply happen .

 Getting close folks , get those deposits in , and help spread the word , the more the merrier .

 Oh , Bill L , if you guys get there on Tuesday , go down to City Hall and they will turn on the electricity and unlock the facilities for you .

I was thinking that If everybody looked thru their "stuff', I'd bet that many (some) folks might have a little something they don't need or want any more. Old T's or accessories gloves hats a tool a part  etc....you get the idea.



Then we could display everything in the pavilion  before the big caper on Sat nite and have a sort of auction with maybe a starting bid of 1$



Funds could go to..well toward costs of the rally or a home for wayward boys and girls???? the city museum?

Wonder if Smith would be up to it? or someone else?

  I am ordering  most of the food and supplies from the local grocery store . But if there is something special you want to bring of course we will be grateful .

 A silent auction would be fine , but maybe we could get Beaver to be the auctioneer , she is very good at things like that .

I am putting together a BBQ on 14 April for the local classic bike club.  Obviously, anyone that wants to ride here is welcome.  Looks like I'll be cooking up some brats and tortillas (taco pollockos), some store bought tater salad, drinks, beer and desert.  I'll make a run to Sam's.

It will be a Mitch Park in Edmond at 1 pm.

I have a portable gas grill in my trailer.  I would guess about 1/3 the surface area of a kettle grill.

Dorcia is a big FLW fan, and I reserved a suite at the Inn at Price tower in Bartlesville, his only high rise, for Wednesday night.  She's excited..
We'll be at the rally Thursday.. I'm excited.  Looks like a win, win.

 For you architecture buffs . Bartlesville is only 60 miles from CV , well , unless you are following PJPR01 , then it is 100 miles away , that's if you can even find it 

 B-ville is also the home of Woolaroc , a very worthwhile place to visit .
