if anything, it's a streamlined stalker of the Road Glide.

But, the RG is a shark is it not?  I'm trying to learn the HDs, since some of my old riding buddies are testing the HD waters.

as someone that's had his eye on the 1400 since it was introduced, I think a frame mount fairing and full boat touring model would be a plus.  This bike isn't a tourer but it might hint that a touring faring is in the works and the rest is a styling exercise or hints of new custom.

Bottlomline, it takes nothing away from the other 1400s by offering this ugly duckling.

My interest would be a 1400 tourer with standard riding position.  If a frame fairing and passenger backrest improves the package that would be great.

I am not too found of whitewalls, extra chrome and deletion of the LED tail lights for a trailer light any more than darth vader's motorcycle.  I would like to see a sporty motorcycle that I would be comfortable heading two up for a long trip.   The Cal Touring is close but could use just a few tweaks, riding position being one, a full faring is another.

That's quite a riding history Dan, you have made some wonderful memories for yourself, I hope you make many more! I enjoyed your little documentary.

That black thing, just my opinion but YUCK! never cared for anything styled by Arlen Ness. But I hope they sell a shitload of them if that's what everybody else likes. Frankly, when Guzzi and Arlen were mentioned together, I just about barfed.

That thing is fugly! I hate the tall front wheel style that seems to be the rage amongst all of those rugged individuals that like to dress alike and ride in packs to Hooters.

It's a concept bike, you guys understand that, surly.  How many concepts both auto and bike have you see reach the market, just as they were in concept?

21", please, total fad, but, if your Piaggio, and by extension Guzzi, don't you want to sell more bikes?

Maybe they make something like it, maybe not, but I suggest you don't wet your panties just yet, they are still going to make old man bikes for the lot of you!

It may be a concept but usually a concept model is a sign of thinks to come...... jeeeez it's ugy.

Big time butt ugly.  But if it will help them stay in business, I hope they sell like Mustangs did in '65.

To go after more sells I hope that come out with a 1400 that has, or as a option a nice fairing with radio ect. The American market would eat it up. Personally I enjoy the sweet sound a proper exhaust makes.

That's Galuzzi standing beside it. The same one who promised us a model with standard foot pegs when the 1400 came out. How things change, and how they stay the same.
