Got an '87 1000 SPII that runs fine. Plan to continue driving it around. However, with 98,000 on the clock and a somewhat unknown service history, it's hard to know how long it'll last.

This thread gives me lots of ideas to consider. Agree that the original tanks have a lot to offer.

So much fantasy, so little money.
