Manhattan, NYC bikes

All,

We spent the last five days in NYC visiting eldest daughter.  She turned 25.  Part of our visit was to the 911 Memorial, at the World Trade Center.

They had a display of interest to all who ride motorcycles:

Here is the Honda:

The Museum, displays and stories are beyond description.  I am glad we went, but it was emotionally wrenching.

On Saturday while near Union Square park I spotted this Manhattan Combat Riding Bike.

Pretty impressive and much better suited to the horrid streets, traffic, potholes and construction.

Otherwise we had a great visit, but the girls wore me out, and my ears are sore from way too many words.  Looking forward to a prime weather 3 day weekend and riding Little Goose.

If you ever feel like no one pays attention to you, try making a sandwich in front of your dog

One of my favorite riding memories was exploring Manhattan on a Sunday morning on my Bandit.  No traffic (by NYC standards).

Tried to get a good pix of top of CB750 tank with inscription, but impossible.

Manhattan driving puckers me big time just thinking about it, and on a bike...whoo...whee. ...will remember the Ducati art thingy...thanks

I generally enjoy it, actually find it less stressful than taking the subway.
