Ghezzi Brian..... The year was 2002 I believe and I saw this Ghezzi Brian bike and knowing my cousin was a Guzzi fanatic I sent him photos.
Next thing I know he locates one that was imported to a dealer out of state and arranges to pick the bike up from him at a upcoming race at Laguna Seca.
It's an interesting bike to ride. About 65 pounds lighter than a V11 Le mans and a shorter wheelbase.
Changes direction very quickly with that geometry. Beautiful bike. He keeps it garaged ad doesn't ride it much.

Neither did I . A local bloke , Tryg Westby ,built a CBX powered , Spondon framed special a few years back . He utilized a very pricey perimeter brake . Memory tells me the other Spondon CBX frame went to OZ .

it is a stunner in execution. I'm not a fan of the color nor the headlight nacelle.

That nickel Spondon frame is gorgeous as is the engine and mechanical bits. I would love to hear it.

Spondon frame , Triumph copied the design . Tryg's bike sounds and looks amazing . The CBX engine came out of a MC wrecked with less than 1000 miles on the clock . Oh , and that frame cost as much as some island nation's GDP .

I have never heard of a Ghezzi Brian bike until this thread, oh man, that bike looks amazing and futuristic. I can't believe it's over 10 years old!

Went to Italy in 2003 and visited the Ghezzi Brian "factory". Half of a warehouse type building out in the country with nice winding roads around it. Didn't let us take any pics inside the assembly room, but did get some of completed bikes. A model very similar to the one pictured in this thread, but in red.

A friend has the Ghezzi-Brian prototype on display in his living room. Sadly really just a display bike because of lack of VIN being the prototype. Color is a tribute to another amazing bit of kit, Britten. There were 2 or 3 at the Alameda show a few years ago, you'd think they were common…

The CBX beast would look better with Speed Triple-style side-by-side twin headlights. Bet it sounds nice!
