V7 Sport headlight mounts?
« on: April 19, 2015, 08:09:11 AM »
Hi All,
Looking for a RH headlight mount for V7 Sport. Will buy a pair if any are available. Just bought a '73 that has a broken RH mount... :-\I've already tried the dealers. Thanks in advance for any info or leads.

You may need to consider a repair, then repaint both to match.  I used the rattle can "Krylon Wrinkle Finish" on my brackets and triple trees with excellent results.  Follow the directions to the T.  Good Luck!

Contact Guzzi Stephan in Germany, google him as I don't have his email, he can probably help you as he has many contacts across Europe and he is a very good fellow to deal with.

Cheers

V7 Sport headlight mounts .. sure as rare as rocking horse s**t. Just surprised that as of yet , no Guzzisti have cast new ones or made some knockoffs , still, there is hope. Signor Tonti sure designed some classy looking bits.

Repops were available at one time. I'll probably end up having some made so stay tuned. Got mine repaired; it's strong but uglier than homemade soup.

Are they no longer available at MG Cycle?  I bought a pair there a few years back.

Best,

Carlo
