Marzocchi reported to be on the verge of closure

The American company "Tenneco" , owner of the Marzicchi brand from 2008 , decided to close down facility in Bologna , opened in the 1949 .

Did they made the rear suspension that was such a problem recently for BMW? Maybe the liability costs nailed the coffin?

Errrr. I don't think so. You probably are confusing it with Marchessini (Sp?) different entities entirely.

As for Marzocchi their glory days of producing what were generally seen as the best suspension available are long gone. In 1977 maybe. Most of the suff produced nowadays is at best mediocre.

The impending closing of Marzocchi probably explains why MG switched to Kaifa forks during the '13 V7 run.
