Thank goodness it's not in North America! I would be much poorer and a bike richer by now.  :D

That bike ticks every box I have for a Le Mans - MKI Series 1, Ice Blue, gorgeous.

Heck the Netherlands isn't that far.  I'm buying new springs / parts for my sons eyetalian scooter from there.

Less than 10,000 miles

I'll check on shipping and let you know.  maybe I'd better think about that because this bike is on my "pail" list (little bucket)

Well I could fly over and return for $1400.  I wonder how hard it would be to ride the Le Mans to England and have hit shipped from there.

Uhhh they ride on the wrong side of the road in England. You'd crash it at the first round about. Never mind.

can't believe how much more bikes bring over in the EU. When I get too old to ride I'm going to put all my classics in a container and ship them over there, Would likely get an easy 30% more than here.

That's about $14,500 for the bike. With shipping and other fees etc, you'd probably be close to $16,000

Looks a lot like the one I sold about five years ago, except for the aftermarket Gamin seat.  I sold it
to a friend, for $5K, but doubt I could have gotten much more at the time.  Everything old is becoming
more valuable now.

I am old too, aint worth a dime lol

It is not an aftermarket Gamin seat.
It's an original first Le Mans seat, but  reinforced by a proffessional.
Front and backend are still from the old seat, middlesection is renewed.
The only way to preserve an original 1.1 seat is to store it in your bedroom ;-)

Wrote to the 2nd owner and got a very interesting history about the bike.

Less then 2500 km from new till 2003

I know a guy who refuses to sell me a pretty nice Le Mans because he is afraid I would tear it down and rebuild it ;D

Judging by the pictures of your new beauty there isn't much to improve upon, again a very, very nice and desirable Guzzi :+1

BEAUTIFUL  :drool :drool :drool

The finish on the bike is impeccable, love the colour and I think the day-glow orange on the fairing just sets the bike off perfectly.

I hope you have many, many years of riding enjoyment from it, just don't stop in places where motorcyclists congregate, you will be swarmed!

Cheers

Thanks Jim

About the orange, my Nexus 5 smartphonecam is not able to show the real color i guess.

Because the upper side of the fearing is exactly the same as the lower side, on the picture it is not

I"ll try to make some other pics with my Olympus tomorrow.

Picture taken a few years ago in front of the Laverda Museum in Holland.  Now where can you see 2 such beauties tucked together?
I thought the bike in this thread was the one at the back, but I notice a different saddle??  Bonkers?

What a pair of beauties!

It's like debating blonde or brunette.

Seeing the two colour schemes side by side I am torn between the Ice Blue and the Red.

No wonder Archie could never decide upon Betty or Veronica as his main girl.

Eventually I may need to fin both ::) In reality I don't think so, my wife has already stated her displeasure with the number of bikes I have tucked away.
