Gas Tank Paint

I have an 04 Cafe Sport that had the gas tank replaces several years ago as a result of warping. Previous owner had it taken care of under warranty. Nice
Yesterday I noticed that the paint has bilstered. A bubble the size of a dime has surfaced on the side of the tank. Has this happened to anyone? I suspect this would not be a dealer issue so much as the importer. Being an 04 is there any chance of getting this replaced by Moto Guzzi?

I had blisters form on my 13 NTX.
Replaced under warranty. 
I questioned whether it was due to Ethanol in the gas.. the response was probably a crappy paint job.
I suspect its Ethanol leaching thru..

No help from the dealer. Is there an importer number?
I know chances are really quite slim.

11 years old, no. No dealer or manufacturer of any marque would.

My 13 Norge has started blistering, just one so far but it too is dime sized. Blister is coming up through the top though, you can feel it above the surface.
