San Diego Guzzi Clan - Stoplight reunion
« on: April 28, 2015, 10:33:14 AM »
On my way to work this morning - I'm paused in the left turn lane waiting on a light - and I hear -

" How do you like that engine ? "

Gentleman in a truck next to me at the light speaking - I give him a thumbs up and " Love it!".

He responds with " That's fuel injected - I had a Quota that was fuel injected ". A woman in the passenger seat leans forward and gives me a big smile.

I tell him my first Guzzi had carbs, but it's a different world now. He beams and says " I had an Eldorado and put a hundred and eighty thousand miles on it ! "

I say " Me too ! A hundred and fifteen ! " The light changes, waves are exchanged, and he goes on his way.

Yeah, my wife and I were just talking about this. The woman in the passenger seat looked pretty happy, I wonder if they're looking at Moto Guzzis on line right now.
