If you got rid of the unsightly bike, I think you could save the burned spot in the yard.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

The Tsunami Harley got quite a bit of coverage in the local rags

Apparently Harley offered to fix it up but the owner didn't want it back

It looks like it was burned on the side of the road and just left there.  The guy says it's repairable - yeah, by jacking up the license plate and putting a new bike under it.

He just forgot to put the decimal point after the first zero.  ;) That still means he wants more than it's worth, but it's a lot closer to reality.  ::)

Back in 89 when I bought my T-3 I paid $600 for it and rode it 90 miles home. I spent about an additional $2K getting it more road worthy and paint and chrome. The same day my neighbor picked up a H-D for $3K. It was a bare frame, motor, and about nine boxes of parts. An additional $9k he had it on the rode. I just don't get it.

The rust holding it all together gives it a nice patina.  The doods from American Pickers would be all over taht.
