04 Breva ready to travel......
« on: May 07, 2015, 05:54:13 PM »
Just added the laminar lip to a F something windshield, added Stelvio hand guards. Staintunes, reflashed ECU and not much else.

That is a nice looking bike. My wife rides on 08 Breva, she likes the hand guard idea.

That is a nice looking bike. My wife rides on 08 Breva, she likes the hand guard idea.

The handguard bolts up perfect to the outer handlebar and it looks like it's meant to go over the mirror stem on the Stelvio but I never looked at a Stelvio that close before. I had to use a short piece of aluminum flat stock, drilled a couple of holes and slipped one between the mirror and the post and then bolted the had guard to the other end of the aluminum.

JB,
No one will recognize you on that slick looking machine, the very least you can do is add some ratty ammo cans.

Needs some hardware cloth over the headlight maybe. Or a rifle holster. Just not quite JB enough yet.

It will be when he's done drilling 1/2" holes in the windshield.

Lovely bike, JB.

Maybe, unless you are Dave Richardson's wife, who does ride a Breva 750 !

The baby Breva is still Dave's 1st choice for himself, although he admitted to being intrigued with the V7II coming to MotoInt soon.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but quick question if you don't mind: Are those the stock mirrors for that bike? Reason I ask is I just got a 2009 Stelvio and I want to put bigger mirrors on it, those seem to be the right size I'm looking for. Thanks!

Some nice mods there JB.  I can see one arriving on my Breva very soon,  i.e. the hand shields.
