All,
Love bugs have hatched here on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Little Goose and I enjoyed a fast paced ride this morning. Humidity is maxed and winds quite gusty. The V7R reigns supreme in these conditions, especially tracking in the cross winds.
Pace is the keyword. The new Trumpet has prompted me to further press the performance envelope of the small block Guzzi. I am improving my technique keeping the bike right in the sweet spot of gear, torque, speed and control. We had a hell of a good time despite a buggy-wug managing to get inside my helmet (WTF?) and crawl around on my forehead.
Carefully cleaned the bike and helmet as the bug guts are quite acidic to finishes. They also collect as crispy ash in the fins, and I will brush them out later.
What a fantastic machine! So gorgeous! Those twin pipes are pretty loud! Clocked over 12K miles this morning.
Bella Molto....
