Odyssey battery followup question
« on: June 06, 2015, 08:36:00 AM »
The PC680 arrived yesterday. I am waiting on the terminal hardware I ordered, figuring I could return it if I don't need it. Now that I have the unit, I wonder -- will the hardware be necessary, or will I be able hook it up as is, out-of-the-box? I am used to connecting additional devices -- electric vest, GPS, battery tender -- if that makes any difference. Sorry to clog the board with these sorts of dumb questions, but search is still down, plus it's a little weird to be planning with the bike a few hours away.

On a 2004 Cali Titanium it bolts right in. Five minutes tops.

If you can attach your cables to the battery terminals, that's all you need.  The less hardware, the better.  Go with it.
