I'm sure there are many here who either grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, or listened in their early adulthood.

Enjoy:

The whole presentation award show is on Youtube here:

Also worth watching is you're a Zep fan is the 2012 reunion concert with John Bonham's son Jason on drums. He is an impressive drummer in his own right. Be prepared though, you'll be stuck to the screen for a bit over two hours for the full concert.

I recently got a Roku so I can watch youtube on the big TV hooked up to the stereo. There's a plethora of full albums, movies and concerts on Youtube. No cable TV here. Don't miss it.
The urge to buy terrorizes!

I'm glad the band liked it butt it was to over-produced for me.

There's a simplicity of sound in the original.

Just like a Griso at full gallop.

guzzi content because I do ride with my hearing

It was the finale to a show about lifetime achievements.

It was supposed to be a bit over the top.

Besides, the original will always be the original... This was a tribute, not a duplicate.

Like a large part of the male populace in the US I grew and had my Zep and classic rock phase.  Listening to most of that stuff now is like trying to enjoy Freebird with fresh ears, still classic but sometimes dated and not nearly as enjoyable; yet, I find that a lot of the Zep stuff and a few others really hold up and have a timeless enjoyablility.  For me especially I still hear albums 3 and Physical G and think how fresh they sound.  As per this thread, Ann and Nancy have been massive Led fans since the get go, especially Anne who basically says she started playing guitar because of Jimmy Page.
