ugh fresh tar snakes TX FTM 762

Riding back from the RideSmart track day observation, I hit some fresh tar snakes on FTM 762.  Damn I hate these things.  Could see the car splooges as they pick up and leave tar.  Very fresh, and I crossed some in the corners.  Treacherous. Did a small slide, ugh. Need to clean tar off the bike when it cools.

Be careful out there. 

Fun time, more later with Tom's approval.  Pretty much decided I want to do a Level I, but after it cools off, and probably with the Triumph, and not the Guzzi.  Want the high end handling and braking for the first experience.

The stretch of HW 38 South and East of Red River NM was more tar snake than asphalt . Kind of like riding on a low tire

They did the same thing on MD67 from my little town north. I was glad when they came back through and slurry coated it afterwards. Still sucks, but not as bad.

I wish the road crews would put up some sort of warning.  That would be the safe action. Snakes tend to parallel road in the curves...like riding on goo....

They are not supposed to heap it on like that. Crack Seal is only meant to fill the crack to prevent water from penetrating down to the sub base.
