Tough Day on the Mountain

A 39 year old motorcyclist was killed today during time trials for the Pikes Peak race.  Additionally, reports are that six people were hit by lightning on the peak also. Details at www.krdo.com.

 That is a fairly rare thing at the hillclimb , still sad news . Lightening strikes in the Rockies are common .
