As long as it's not at 6 am, that's fine, otherwise prepare to have the plug pulled!  :)

Calling the bus "Ol' Blue" could have called it ol yeller but that story didnt end well. Bringing everything as always. Might not bring atv this year. With Calvins memorial, dont want to have to worry about it. And I gotta feed Ol' Blue will be first long distance run.

I do have a Mitchell reel I really like. I'll bring it.

Getting everything loaded up today. See ya wed night or thursday.

Rod

Rod,

Big Blue?

Not bringing the short bus?

Are you planning on doing a meal. Pork chops at CV were spectacular.  Even if you're not planning on cooking, bring your can cooker if you have room.

If you are still interested in fishing rod, bring your favorite reel, and we'll kick around some ideas.

What's the fog forecast for the Scenic Byway?  Last year with thick as soup - more dense than the fog on the Golden Gate bridge on arrival evening...weekend was beautiful though!  Let's hope for more of the same clear weather!

Hard to predict fog on the Mountain , usually when it is really warm there isn't much problem , unless there is   An English friend in Texas told us the Talimena Drive was like the IOM circuit, nice and sunny followed by rain and fog followed by nice and sunny , followed by ... well anyway , you get the idea  Hmm , wonder if we could lure those fearless Irish roadracers to Oklahoma, one pass over and back would be about equal to 3 laps at the Island .

I very much doubt I'm going to make the Okie this year.   You guys have a great time, and post some good pictures.

I plan on arriving Thursday afternoon/evening.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Sorry...just got news that I cannot leave Friday as originally planned...so now it doesn't make sense for me to ride all the way up on Saturday and turn around and ride all the back on Sunday.

Will have to catch the next one fellas...Dave, feel free to give away the afore-mentioned reserved tent spot!

See you back down here in Houston/Galveston upon your return!  Have fun guys!

I'll be headed there Thursday afternoon pulling my toy hauler.

If you need supplies, let me know, I can haul them in the trailer.

BTW- does someone knows how to reset a Chromecast module, I could run it from my phone to my TV?  But once the module is married to my home TV, I have know idea how to divorce and remarry it.  I've tried and failed.

got the batteries $$ installed in the truck.  got wet.

For now I hope to get the trailer out, pack and head out by early afternoon tomorrow.  What?  It's about 3 1/2 hour drive?  All depends how I feel and how motivated.
