That is Guzzi legend Big Richard Hampton , 300,000 miles on an Eldo , with completely clapped out rear shocks . Guy could ride for a big fella .

I think I will try to make this one .  Usually do a bike camping trip in the fall every year  and I haven’t met too many Guzzi folks yet. I’m the only Guzzi owner in the group that I ride with. By that time of year the weather should be pretty nice for camping if it is not raining.  Will be riding up from the Dallas area and will probably show up on Friday.  Looking forward to it.

David , the Okie is a good rally to meet fellow Guzzista , we always have a few Texans , and the rally is small enough to be intimate .

Looking forward to meeting you  :thumb:

 Thursday bump .

Best riding in the country folks , lots of curvy roads , great scenery , very little traffic .

We still need to sell a few T-shirts .

 Thanks

I'll be there, but don't need a shirt. Probably arrive Thursday afternoon. AND I plan on actually riding a Guzzi this year!

Cedar Vale and the JN Smith campout are my two favorite (and only) MC camping trips.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

It appears there isn't enough demand for T shirts to make them viable . Sorry to disappoint the five guys who wanted one .

Anyway , we do need to start getting a count , Davedel , what are they saying on FB ? Speak up folks, the Okie has a good tradition , help us add to that history .

I'm in the same spot as last year. Undecided which bike(s) to bring. The G-5 is a work in progress. Can always throw a leg over the Yamaha or solo Bonneville. The sidecar would be no fun in the hills. No biggie about the shirts, just bring some grub and fresh bench racing lies.     Trying to convince a coworker to bring his XS650 for a run over the mountain and back. Will try to get Ken Bunch to show too.

Dusty,  I’m in for Talimena.   One of my favorites.  But I’m burned out on the T-shirt thing.

I'll be state side for part of Oct. and will try and make it....

:-)

Mike, I certainly hope you can make it. I always enjoy getting to talk with you at Cedar Vale and the Oklahoma Campouts.

After a 1300 mile long weekend riding a Yamaha up to Springfield for the mile, I went down to the Texas coast for the rest of the week. Only riding our pedal bikes during that time (rode bikes everywhere we went, about 10 to 15 miles per day). Debra loves to ride her bike!

Well, now back home, today took the Griso for a hundred plus mile ride to meet Debra for lunch, she was back to work. All I can now think about is riding the Griso to the upcoming Oklahoma Campout. I love the rawness of that bike!
