100 miles away in a frog strangler...will wait an hour and then continue on...

Enjoying a hot cup of Texas Pecan coffee...and waiting it out.

At least the bike is getting cleaned with a nice rinse!

Hows the campsite fairing withe the weather?

Another good day to have the King of Fleece waterproof seat cover on!

I am so bummed with the weather report.  I was planning on coming up Saturday.  I miss the Guzzi guys and was looking forward to sitting around the campfire swapping tales.
Guess I'm going to have to wait til next year.

Those that are going, ride safe and have fun.

Intermittent rain all day. The mountain tops are socked in. Hoping for better wx tomorrow.

Power out in the area.  Find some place to hold up.  Presently not raining here but predicted to start again tomorrow.

Any word on Darren?

At home feeling a bit bruised and battered, but only thinking of how much work its going to be to get the Griso back on the road.   :bike-037:

As usual the Guzzi guys came through to help me out. Especially Larry who came out there and stayed with me in my time of need until John L got there with his Toy hauler to pick up the mess, and bike. John L even fed me!

He is bringing it home to me when he returns from the campout.  Thanks a bunch, guys.

Awe Paul, you posted a picture of my poor crashed Griso. It looks so sad there in the rain.

Can't wait to get it home and start taking care of it's broken bits.

Wow - what a couple of great meals that we had.  Friday had a roaster full of beans and stuff and it was great.  Then there was the jumbo shrimp, corn on the cob, potato and sausage mix.  Quite tasty !

Saturday morning had Doug slinging a great breakfast !

Thanks to all of you that made this possible !!!

I feel bad for you, that’s my twin Griso!  I’ve got a classic Griso Dart screen if you need one once you start getting it fixed up.  Most items looked repairable!

Made it home, got my S**t hangin' in the garage drying out. I'm glad the LeMans isn't mad at me for making her sleep in the rain . Even if we didn't get in much mileage, we had good fun and good food! Thanks Doug, Rod & Dave!  I think it's BEER:30!! :boozing:

Made it home. Was damn glad I was NOT on the Jackal. Hit an arctic cold front just north of Stillwater and it got f"n cold. Stopped for some gas at us60 and I-35 and it felt like winter. Strong north wind, some spitting rain mist, not fun.

I have a blue umbrella and a blue soft cooler that were left at the camp ground. They will stay in the bus until Cedar vale.

Even though it was a soggy weekend, it was still fun to hang out with everyone.

See ya at Cedar vale!

Made it home a few minutes ago!  Long day in the saddle...managed to scare a deer near the town of Antlers with a quick braaap on the Agostini pipe and it turned back into the woods instead of crossing the road in front of me thankfully! Rest of the trip was warmer by the hour and eventually downright toasty!

Dusty...the shirt you gave me was a XXX XL so if you want it back or anyone else needs a blue Cedar Vale shirt, let me know and I’ll send it out.

John...many thanks for the tunes and lodging, so much nicer than tenting in the rain!  See you all next time!
