Yesterday I was waiting at the intersection and saw a large yellow swallowtail butterfly on the other side of the road coming my way. Five lanes wide on a major traffic artery with non stop flow. 3-4 feet off the deck, buffeted by air currents and wind. A couple of times I was sure it was a goner. Nope. Boundary layer air flow kept spinning it away from windshields and bumpers. Made it to my side and continued on. Sheesh, THAT was a journey. Mine was pretty tame. Ain't Life grand?
