Not looking for any pro or anti talk, just curious what you think of the series.

I'm enjoying it. Lots of footage I've never seen.

It's a good series...was on a few weeks ago I think on Comcast...saw a few of the episodes.   Always fascinating and amazing that the photographers were able to keep their cool as well during these events.

I have the old PBS/WGBH series VietNam: Am American History on DVD.

Is this one substantially different?

Is this one substantially different?

Haven't seen that one.  This one one looks really good, but it's the same docu-history formula... archive footage digitally cleaned up, with narrator and first-hand interviews with veterans. I dont have cable, so I dont get a diet of History Channel..  I like it! But it's probably not too different than what you've seen.
