Hi Everyone,

Myself and a few other local Guzzi folk were thinking of having a gathering in Houston on Saturday, September 12th for those that cannot make it to Mandello for the big event. Starting about 6 o'clock and going till ten maybe. It is a Saturday and we were thinking of the Dark Horse Tavern on Washington Ave. They have a big parking lot off street and a shaded deck next to it. Cold beer and snacks. Many motorcycle things have happened here over the last few years and it is a good central location (a mile from downtown) for anyone coming from Katy, Galveston, Conroe and the like.

I would consider riding to Houston for the event, but I will be on a trip to the Great Lakes area.

Google Maps street view shows Darkhorse bar and what looks like a parking meter at its edge.

It's only a thousand miles from Tucson Arizona - or 25 hours and a hundred dollars one-way on Amtrak.
