progressive springs for 2003 Cali. Aluminum

I've read where others have used progressive springs for their suspension. Has anyone used them for 2003 Cali???  I called progressive and they don't have in their book so they refused to suggest anything or sell me any.  I'm wondering what,or if, others are using so I can do the same. I've had recent back surgery and just trying to smooth out the ride a little.

I did Ikon shocks on the rear of a Bassa and up graded fork springs up front..... Best ride enhancement you can do!!!!

If it's rear suspension to which you're (OP) referring, I second the recommendation for IKON shocks. I put them on my 03 Aluminium and they made a huge difference in comfort. Bought them from MG Cycle, part number 7610-1610 SP8. Only a discerning observer could tell that they aren't the stock shocks; they're chromed and fit perfectly. At the time I paid $438.

Guzzitech used to sell the Hyperpro fork springs back in the day. Put them on my 03 Titanium. Big improvement.

Yup, I could not remember the name of the springs he sold.

If you have back problems, stiffer springs are not the answer.  I would keep the stock front springs, use 5 weight oil and set the rear shocks on the lightest preload, if adjustable, setting and minimum sag.  Change the crappy seat to something more flat from front to rear.  The seat is not made for American butt's.  Progressive springs will be soft for only a small amount of movement and most likely that small amount is going to be absorbed just from the weight of the bike or sag.  The rear of a shaft drive bike should be set up with a straight rate spring that has no sag with out a rider.  This prevent the bike from rising in the rear excessively when accelerating.  Riding a motorcycle is not going to help with any back problem.  Proper exercise, lose weight, proper nutrition are helpful also. Do what I do, outsource some of my grass cutting to save my back for riding.  Don't tell my wife I do this though.

Actually those fork springs made mine ride....... smoother.  They absorbed the road indulations better then stock.  Two fellow owners ordered their's after riding mine.

I've been looking for the hyperpro progressive springs for forks and the closest that I've come is the cali. EV and don't think they will work for Aluminum. What say you????
Also got another question. I've already tried Harley FLH air shocks and don't see any improvement and even though I can't find progressive shocks for my Alum. but see they do make them for the FLH and do you think they'd be OK on my bike.

Alright people I've purchased some shocks. The Ikon shocks were a little more that I could spend so I settled for the progressive shocks so I'll have to wait to see how they workout. They didn't make any specific to my bike but are interchangeable with Harley FLH so I went with them.
Now does anyone know if there are any Progressive fork spring that are interchange or have other suggestions for other springs to smooth out the ride without bottoming out? 
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!!!
