The article sounds pretty believable.

1)   The Guzzi riders are getting old - the event has been running for 40 years and it's the same guys ...

2)   The cost of putting on the rally is going up, but no one wants to pay more ....

This is unfortunate. Salisbury is a lovely area to ride, lots of local history, a beautiful cathedral, Stonehenge not far away. And a couple of good local pubs.....
What more could you ask for?
