New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I have tended to use choice #3, since my local shops (now that I'm no longer in the business) are not a reliable source (10w60, doncha know). However, the outfit I've been using now no longer is in business, and since I'm having to look around, I thought I'd see what others are doing.PLEASE, this is not a thread about whether a given weight is needed, or whether a given brand is best - it's about how to best buy a consumable we all need. In my case, I do 3 or 4 oil changes a year to keep up (20 - 30,000 miles a year), so I have to buy a fair bit of the stuff; cost, availability and service are the question!
This IS becoming an oil thread. Your poll assumes everyone here uses synthetic oil. Older Guzzis don't need syn. oil.
Actually, I didn't assume that, I just disclosed that I needed to do so. I am also curious to know if people are buying on the Internet even if they could by locally, regardless of the type of oil they need...
I buy locally(WalMart) but only use dino oil. Only buyers of specific syn. oils would consider internet for buying unless they lived in the boonies.
