If you happen to be near Mandello, the museum will be open all day this Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of the open-house. Carcano's old office is part of the museum building, and it's interesting looking over his bookcase to see what engineering books he used. He's got a wide variation of topics; I wonder if they were all his, or if his book case also served as the engineering library?
