Had to share. My daughter posted this shot of my brother's Corgi pup reconsidering his role as a herder:

Dinner was served without Ollie's help but he got a taste.

Little Corgi-boy is right down there with those crustaceans, I'll bet he can make them move.

Herd dog's job (absent commands from the boss) is to stop it if it's moving, and move it if it's stopped.

Our Jack doesn't think much of seafood.

When I was diving and I'd bring home a limit of lobsters, I'd put them on the patio and let my cat check them out. She was largely uninterested until they were cooked.

Years ago my S/O bought some dog treats from Alaska that were make for fish. Of course Osh Kosh was excited and when I handed her one of the treats she just stood there for a minute the turned around and dropped it in the middle of the LR floor and rolled around on it before she ate it. Dog was weird....

Had a GSP years ago and did the same thing with some live lobsters. She looked at them and didn't know what to make of it. Pretty funny.

Had a Cardigan Corgi until one year ago when I had to put her down. Cutest things with no legs.

Man, I bet lobster is mighty expensive in CO! Here in Maine, I can walk down the dock and buy it all day long for under $4/lb. Too bad I got sick of it a long time ago.

That's the sort of stuff we eat up here when we can't afford to buy food. Tonight I'm having 'mock lobster' linguini in a white sauce made with halibut on account of hamburger is $6/lb and NY Steak is $15/lb. Halibut on the other hand is free.

Yea, fish three or four times a week gets old. Even if I mix up salmon, 'butt, shrimp, cod, and crab I still find myself wanting a smoldering chunk of herbivore. On the plus side, I weigh about what I did in high school, have no cholesterol count, BP 120/75, and eat cheap.
