Replacing dash on Breva 750

Hi Guys,
Does any one know if the spedo/tach gauge from a V7 Classic will work on a Breva 750? I know the bikes are cosmetically different but seem to share a lot of the same platforms. My gauge is broken and I found a used V7 on ebay for half the price of a new breva gauge. Interesting fact, Harper's lists a new Breva gauge using MPH for $200 more than one using KPH. Maybe its time to go metric?
Thanks

I think the Breva dash uses a different plug as well as having a different display.
