That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

I'm out of the loop (sorry)  :smiley: on this, but is that transmission a very early one? No ribs or anything..

Wow, so the 1999 " california e11 " came with a 1680 cc engine? I must have missed that model.

I can't quite decide if that would mean it contained an apostrophe or was built by an opossum.

 Talk about a piece of junk , those things are built from the cheapest metals , I witnessed a clutch perch break on a brand new one the first time the owner pulled the lever .
