New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
You're in luck! Rather than finding out what people "favor" because the store that sells it is more convenient to their commute home, or because (Guzzi Content) it's $.25 a liter cheaper, I still have my Centauro manual that specifies exactly what to use!!Agip 4T 20W50 or other quality AGI spec oil.80W90 in both the gearbox and final drive. So easy ANYone can do it!! This is for my 1998 V10 Centauro GT. What lubricants do you use / favor, please? This is what I was recommended by one owner. * Engine oil - Mobil 1 synthetic 15W / 50W* Rear end oil - Redline Heavy-Duty Shock-Proof 85W / 190W* Tranny oil - Redline Heavy-Duty Shock-Proof 85W / 190WThanks in advance!JJ Cerilli
I use Mobil-1 grey cap 15w50, or preferably the higher ZDDP content Mobil-1 V-twin 20w50 for the engine. Mobil-1 oil filter is M1-102.For transmission and bevel, I use Mobil-1 75w90.All available at your local Autozone.

I'm old school, I still prefer Corn Oil for my rear end. And as for Tranny oil, the ones I know seem to prefer some sort of specialized lubricant. Said something about, "when riding the old dirt road, you can't take any chances"? <shrug>
At the risk of getting flamed I use Castrol GTX 20-50 in the engine and Red Line in the other places.
