I've been lurking for awhile but have been slowly fiddling around with my old T.  Been taking care of some much needed maintenance and a few upgrades here and there - such as cam chain tensioner, F09 caliper and 12mm mc, replaced leaky trams and rear end seals, wheel bearings etc etc, the list goes on... 
I cam up with the idea of using 1.5" Norton peashooter mufflers instead of the old Dunstall decibel copies I had on previously.  Anybody else used these?  Opinions welcome!

I've always thought that style of muffler was very good looking.  I'll be interested to hear how effective they are when you get the bike running.

I tried a set on the Lario, and they were horrendously loud. I've heard *nice* sounding pea shooters, though, so maybe it depends on who makes them.

I bought a pair of those a few years ago for a T140 Triumph . Could see straight through them , so knew they would be loud . They were very loud . Put baffles in the end , and that helped a bit , but not much . If I had kept the bike I would have changed to longer/more restrictive baffles , or changed to different mufflers .

I agree.  When I used to work on British bikes, they a were a common replacement for T140s as they looked right and performed well.  However, the UK made peashooters were not only made better, but sounded better than the Taiwan copies.  Maybe that's what you had? Btw, the old Bub mufflers (unobtainium now) were basically the same design and look as the peashooters.

Please post a video or sound clip if you can once you get it running. I say that, but I haven't done it either with my bike either I tried to capture the sound, but the device I used sucked all the bass out so it wasn't a good representation to share. I'll need to try something better.

You can see straight through my stock Mille mufflers, but they're somewhat bigger than these, which is probably why they're not terribly loud.
