Breva 1100 soon to be Owner

So I pulled the trigger last night and will pick up my 2005 Breva 1100 on Tuesday
So for all you knowledgeable people out there a couple of questions
Startus Interuptus fix
I plan to do this if its not been done but for simplicity is the famous yellow wire the only yellow one in a relay or are there others and/or how do I identify the starter relay?
Clocks
Its had a set of second hand clocks fitted a while ago and wondered if the dreaded misting and subsequent death were inevitable. Also whether the problem had been sorted on the later bikes and if so how do I recognise the later clocks?
Secondly is the moisture inside from condensation build up or do they just leak so a good coat of sealant in the right places makes things good?
Workshop Manuals & Wiring Diagrams
Do they exist on line as I haven't found them yet
B11
I've seen this written a bunch of times so is it just shorthand or some mysterious code I've not worked out yet

Those with more expertise than I, can advise you on the relay question. However, I've had my 2005/6 Breva 1100 for a couple of years now and, along with my 1999 Cali EV, I can't think of any other bikes I'd rather have. The only time the Breva failed to start was when it needed a new battery.
My dealer suggests that failed dials are not as common as the forum chats might suggest and, to be fair, my dials rarely mist up and only under certain conditions. At home I keep the bike under cover, but I've toured through torrential rain with no problems; that said, I fitted a screen last year which helps to keep the worst of the weather off.
Some misting is merely condensation due to atmospheric conditions, but the forums indicate that water ingress can be a problem, so I wipe the instruments clean rather than let a hose near them. Certainly, sealing them might help, although they do need to be vented to allow any condensation to dry out.
My understanding is that B11 is shorthand for Breva 1100 and, yes, manuals etc are available online; if only I could remember where I downloaded mine from!
Sorry that's not more helpful, but I'd encourage you just to enjoy your Breva, and not worry too much about problems which haven't arisen yet - none of them are inevitable.

See my Startus Interruptus thread for all the wire colors of the relay.
Dash, I think it's inevitable. Mine was garaged it's whole life, had a windshield, rarely ridden in rain (though it did take a few all day soakers). It eventually started eating dashes.

Congratulations! It's a great bike and mine was very reliable. If you want it for the VERY long term, look on ebay and here for replacement dashes.

Some here (like Jay) have had headaches with Ebay dashes.
IF IT WERE ME and I was really sold on the bike, I'd seriously consider buying ONE NEW DASH and sending it out to the (was it Dutch?) company posted on here that was doing the dash repairs and asking THEM to open it and seal it.
They seemed to say that the problems were moisture and that after their fixes they hoped they would be more robust.

My dash has been cracked for years, I just keep ridding it.

I had 3 dashes that failed, 2 new (original and purchased new dash) and one ebay.
I probably had really bad luck.
I sent the failed ebay dash off to CarmoUSA (Company in the Netherlands but has a US mailing address as well) who stated the failure was due to moisture. They fixed up what was wrong and doubled up on the waterproofing of the electrical components. I think I've now had the repaired dash on the bike longer than any single one, I know I have more miles on the odometer of this dash than any other.
The point of all this is that if your dash fails, you may have a way of not only fixing it but making it better than new. I think the big problem is that if the LCD screen gets trashed they don't have a way to fix/replace that. Right now I still have both my other broken dashes, the original has a bunk LCD screen so is probably good for nothing but hanging on the wall.
I would not worry about the dash unless something crazy happens. I still do a lot of riding in the Arizona rain and wash my bike like I always have.
Follow KevM's instructions and wire up your own startus fix. That's what I did and have never had a problem.
