You made me laugh out loud, thanks!  That reminds me of the time I flew to Charlotte to work on some machinery the company I was working for had an interest in.  We made industrial UV lamps powered by microwaves, and when I got there and no one was looking, I put a sign on one of our lamps that said "If white circle below begins to darken, evacuate area immediately".  Under the writing was a big black circle.  It took quite a while for someone to sheepishly ask me "Uh... Jim... is that something we should be concerned about?

To get back on topic, I've been having issues uploading videos onto photobucket, although pics are easy. I'll start looking for a different photo hosting site soon. Seems like most people use smugmug.

Well, I'll try to explain.

Typically, I choose the photo I want to post in PB by clicking on the photo and choosing the box that says URL blah blah blah then go to WG, start a thread and hit CTL - V and my photo drops in the thread and it's a done deal, easy peasy.

Now, I hit CTL- V and I get nothing, capisch?

WHF?

Thanks for any help

If you click on the picture so it is enlarged on your screen and tag the image gizmo you'll see that it is underlined in red and won't copy to the clipboard.
You have to click on it in the thumbnail view for whatever reason.. at least that's the way it's started working for me. Needless to say, don't ask me why.

The problem isn't CTL-V, it's with CTL-C...at least on my Mac.

Single click on the IMG URL in photo bucket, and it with be highlighted in blue.  Then double click on it again, and select copy. You can then paste (or CTR-V) it on the forum.

Probably the photobucket page has localized flash apps that pop up on the page before your stuff and those are stalling out. Cheap ad servers? Ad blocker might help.
