update on Denali lights install on crash bars on V7 Stone

I'm having problems with the vibration loosening the screws and the lights moving around.  I lost one screw altogether, and the lights won't stay adjusted.  I'll be looking for a better solution.  The vibration in the bars is quite strong at cruising speed.

I have a V7 Classic with a pair of PIAA lights mounted on the crashbars.  I installed them around five months ago and check them regularly for tightness; no problems so far.  I also can't feel or see any vibration on the lights themselves as I ride.  I have them mounted with PIAA clamps that have rubber inserts to reduce vibration and stop slippage. 

Do you have rubber inserts between the mounts and the crash bars on your bike?

These are PIAA.  Bought them through Ebay.  Also found the mounts on Ebay. (not who I purchased from but these are the mounts -  http://www.powersportsplace.com/parts/pia-74004?seid=pspse1&gclid=Cj0KEQjwnrexBRDNmZzNkf7c4c4BEiQALnlxhU9XRnNJBGAK7H7YyAcI8vX98q4kSS0BvFyPsn_lTuAaAv2m8P8HAQ)  Dealers wanted crazy prices for the PIAA lights & harness but I'm cheap and kept watching Ebay until I found a guy who bought a large lot of the PIAA lights that were originally sold to Polaris dealers.  He bundled his private branded harness with the lights.  They wound up costing a whopping $100 plus the mounts (from another seller).

I'm glad I have had my cheap Ebay LED lights for a long time. No issues. Well, the anodizing is fading a bit from age.

I've got those on my Quota, and had the same problem at the initial installation.  My solution was to remove the screw from the actual light mount and run a short allen-head set screw into the hole, setting it against the crash bar.  Reassemble and you're good to go.  No problems in over 40k miles.

The 1TB 2013-up V7s seem to vibrate a lot in the crash bars.

I actually removed the Agostini crashbars I had installed, because they intensified vibrations at around 5,000 rpm.  A normal cruising rpm for me.

After reaching down to feel how much the crashbars vibrated on my 2014 V7, I don't see how any lights could live very long mounted to them.

If/when I add some Denalis, it will be to the forks.

I've been checking the vibration of the Agostini bars on my V7-II for the last 3 weeks.
Below 3K there is a strong vibration.
Above 4K there is a very mild buzz.
On the freeway at 120kph there was no perceivable vibration at all.

It should be noted that these bars mount differently on the V7-II.
The bars are attached to the top of a thick steel adaptor plate that bolts to the front of the frame.
