Excellent...thanks both...that was helpful, so truly customized, an interesting proposition! I suppose then if I ever wear out the Corbin, I'll try a RDL...sounds like it might be so comfortable, I'd never stop riding...maybe that's the ticket for doing an Iron Butt or Saddle Sore 1000 run!
The only thing I can see that I don't really like is the shape...those wings, which I'm sure add to the comfort just don't look great, but that's just my preference.

A unique feature of the Russell is that beneath those "wings" is a leaf spring that crosses the seat and adds suspension to the butt. This suspension is distributed to the riders posterior by the "wings." The bigger the butt, the bigger the wings.
For comfort, nothing works better. I have Corbins too but they are not in the league of the Russell.

I have Russell and Bill Mayer saddles, along with many others as I'm in the business. I have tons of customers who use Russell seats and almost as many who use Bill Mayer Saddles.
I prefer the BMS by quite a bit but both are very popular and sell very well.

Ok, the wings and spring explain why my Bill Mauer Quota seat looks like a dead snapping turtle. Yes, it's comfortable, but...
Russel looks a bit better.
