I have a couple of friends who live very close to Mandello del Lario who are regular contributors to Mototurismo.  Some of you may be familiar with the Italian Motorcycle touring magazine....you can download it to your Ipad, Iphone or get a subscription if you like.  Many of the articles are Guzzi based, so quite a bit of Guzzi content.

I met these 2 at the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado a couple of years ago, visited them in Cislago at Xmas 2 years ago and had a nice tour of Mandello, Bellaggio, Lecco (many of the areas Kalal has shared in his photo essay of the area) and surrounding areas with them during the days I visited...unfortuna tely during Xmas time, the factory was closed.  In Italy, he rides a Norge, she rides a Griso.  In Colorado, they were riding a pair of V7's.  When they came to Texas and stayed with me, they were testing a pair of Aprilia Caponord's for their 3 week tour of Texas.  I was also lucky enough to visit with one of their friends who owns a Guzzi dealership in Senago - called Maffezzini Motors.  The owner Ercole is a Master mechanic, also a Guzzi tester, and has ridden many of their bikes on the track at full speeds to put them thru the ringer.

By coincidence, today I found a video from Mototurismo with some of the bikes at EICMA, so a timely one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j4EcOmvKfA

Also a few photos of some of their Magazine covers from a few of their US based trips - Enjoy!!

Thanks for posting!  :thumb: That curve in the side of the fuel tank looks like it has room for a set of much bigger heads!

Hmmm. I think a 4 valver head for the V9 motor must be in the cards!

Very neat
Accentuate the positive;
Eliminate the negative;
Latch on to the affirmative;
Don't mess with Mister In-Between.
