Diagnostic plug location, 1400 Eldorado?
« on: November 23, 2015, 03:54:16 PM »
Hey, I just got my OBD to USB to Guzzi (!!) cable to be able to run Guzzidiag, and I cannot see anywhere under the seat where there is a three pin plug.  Anyone have any hints before I start digging?  I found a two prong with a dirt cap on it, but no three prong.

Thanks!

Its under the seat, along the left side of the battery. Follow the braided line to where it clips into the battery box and shine a flashlight around that area. Don't mistake the heated seat cable for OBD2, well, it won't connect anyhow.

FYI GuzziDiag is useless on the 7SM. Just basic info, nothing you didn't know alrerady. No Diagnostics, No service wrench resets... (Anybody know the service code for these bikes?) Functionality may improve in time but for now, its a waste of time.

what do you mean with no diagnostics?
It can do throttle learning.

The wrench reset is a bit difficult because it goes over the can bus and is encrypted. We need the encryption key for that.
