 That's eerie Dean , was just reading about Dan Gurney's time at Ferrari , and there is his famous #48 F1 Ferrari in the first pic . Thanks , love those old racing pics  :bow:

The cars didn't resemble insects, then, and the entire painted surfaces were not obscured by stickers.

Dean, those are great pics of a wonderful era in auto racing.  I started attending car races in 1969 at Virginia International Racing, and spent many wonderful days spectating at Mid Ohio during the 1970s, 80s, 90s, and into the early 2000s.

EDIT:  And Ralph, no kidding!  Maybe they should go back to international colors and no stickers.  BRG = England, Red = Italy, Silver = Germany, and I think the US was White and Blue.  There must be a lot more I don't remember.
