Posting pictures

Wondering why, sometimes when I post pictures from my Flickr account here, they come out as links and sometimes they come out as pictures.  I am copying the wrong link from Flickr?

think i got it, mobile flickr wasnt giving me the full address

Do you have to have a Flicker account or somthing simliar?   Can you just pull it off your iPhotos?
