Flat spots

How do you guys avoid flat spots during the winter?
(Raising the bike up is not an option.)

 Uh , move the bike around every so often . Why is raising the bike a couple of inches out of the question ?

With the bike on the center stand, the rear wheel is off the ground, and the front wheel is relieved of some weight too. I've never given it any thought, and have never noted flat spotting being a problem.

I use the center stands on our Vespas (because they do not have side stands), but I hardly ever use the center stand on my Norge (because it is too much trouble). In any event, I try to move them around a bit during the winter (including riding them, even if it is cold and wet).

When the snow finally comes, and I have to put the bike away, I just overinflate the tires by a few psi.  It's fine like that for 2-3 months, and it may indeed get rolled around a bit as I make winter updates to it.

Ok, the Mighty Scura lives for months at a time out in SoCal without moving. I plan on rectifying that next year.. but. So far, I just put it on the center stand, (work stand that picks it up by the pork chops) lift up the front and have the grand kid put a 2X4 under the sump. Both wheels are off the ground. Easy..

flat spots as in tires and not power band?

I've never had tires flat spot.  But I try to ride my bikes at least once a month.  Keep the tires aired up.

Check your tire pressures every few weeks and add air as necessary. Tires do go flat over time. (Just look at your bicycle tires for quick evidence of that!)
