New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I have the Knight Design toe pegs (and lowering foot pegs). They work great, but they do scuff up the top of one's left boot.
.... the Russell showed up today (winter here)...
The only downsides to the Knight Design lowering foot pegs (not toe pegs) are:They really do lower the foot pegs, so much so that one cannot corner as aggressively with them installed; They have no rubber vibration dampers (so wear rubber-soled boots); andThe side stand hits and vibrates against the underside of the left foot peg. They are more comfortable, though!
Which Goldwing pegs would fit the Norge? Is there a certain year or model? Thanks for any info.
Credits for this tip to Tom Nova here on the board, I put these on my Norge, he had them on his Sport. You'll also have to buy the Goldwing Springs to attach these, but no modifications are needed, just that they are slightly different than the Norge ones...I'll see if I can find where I bought those from. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221484729980?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D221484729980%26_rdc%3D1
So, these Goldwing foot pegs are actually lower than the Norge foot pegs? I'll have to give them a try! Will the Norge springs not work with the Goldwing foot pegs?
Yep, that's them. You won't regret putting them on. I had a set in a box for a few years and used the adjustable ones. Sure glad I changed to the Goldwing pegs.Dean
That's interesting...a little hard to tell from the picture but are those pushing the pegs out away from the body a bit? The only issue there might be "alignment" of the boot with the shifter/brake pedals...but if they work, looks like they'd add some extra clearance for the knees.
I'd suggest that you try just the Goldwing pegs first.Dean
