84 Cali II back on the road
« on: January 07, 2016, 06:24:02 PM »

Hello All,

Here is a photo from November of my 'new to me' 84 Cali II that I purchased locally from Trenton Ontario. The bike was clean and running great when I purchased it from a fellow Air Force member. The bike was 'airlifted' to Canada from Germany. To make the bike roadworthy it required new tires, brake pads, clutch cable, plus a voltage regulator & battery. But that was about it, and it runs just great on the road with myself adding over 7,000 kilometers to the 86,500 total.

Cheers
Peter

I got my start with Moto Guzzi on my friend's Cal II.  They are great machines and good for the long haul.  Also, thank you for your service.

They are good machines, I bought one new and put over 150K miles on it, totaled it out twice, repaired it twice and still is mechanically sound, running around Texas somewhere.  :bike-037:
