There's a V7 Sport in one of the photos as well.

That is so nice!

All Ambos were 4 speed right?

The man has taste, as an aside, wondering what is the car in some of the photos online.

Yes, all 4 spds. unless modified. The wheels look like Jaguar.

I've been wondering what's going on with all these Ambassador's being sold on the West Coast?  Some are resurrected like the $7700 one in Sac and some are in need of resurrection and still list for $3000 or so.

I seldom see Ducs, Morini's, Laverda's, Benelli's or MV's of that vintage but do see a heck of a lot of Guzzi's  Ambos, El's, T's, T3's, Convert's

Looks Jag... XJ6-ish

I'm really enjoying seeing more and more of these (the red and the white) Eldos showing up. My wife wants me to go red if I ever properly restore our Crud-orado. In any case, being Arizona, anything but black!

I look at fellas selling bikes like this - at numbers like this as a realistic alternative to new bike ownership. These are rider bikes with the added cache of having "bottomed out" in value, looking good at the curb and all the issues are known while parts are still available to boot.

Talked to owner last nite. Has owned it six months and ridden it 35miles. He has no idea whether the cylinders have been replaced. Was bought from a Canadian ex Guzzi dealer. Must have restored at some point...he bought it because it was "pretty."

Would make an offer but the cylinder issue holds me back.
