Breva V1100 (05) replacement Pegs
« on: January 15, 2016, 01:49:28 AM »
Morning All

I'm looking for some more space on the bike so looking to try some lower pegs.

Before I go down the Knight Design route I've seen that Goldwing and Buell pegs fit with little modification needed

Can somebody tell me which Goldwing/Buell pegs - model year etc. are the ones to track down

Cheers

I bought 1.5" lowered pegs for my 1200 Sport and raised the seat 1" and wow what a difference! BUT I had to have a bracket made that lowers the brake pedal as that is not adjustable like the shift lever. I believe the sell what I had made.

I previously had the Buell XB pegs on my 1200 Sport.

They were not a perfect fit, and involved a lot of grinding of the width to make them fit in the bracket, but they did the job for me. The holes were quite a bit bigger than the 1200 Sport mounting pin and the springs would not work with them. Some people have bought/made bushings to make the holes fit the pin but I just left them the way they were. The only downside for me at the time was that without the springs, sometimes the pegs would get kicked up and I'd have to find them to push them back down before I could put my feet on them.

I didn't sweat the brake pedal, I got used to it.

Just put the GW 1800 pegs on it, an easy fix and it works.
